Learning to play the flute as an adult may seem intimidating. In reality, it is not really all that hard. You just have to follow a few simple steps, and you will be extremely happy with the results of your learning process.

The Instrument

Get a flute that is neither too expensive, nor too inexpensive. Get the best flute that your money can buy. A low quality flute will not sound great, while an expensive one might just go to waste if you eventually find yourself not going through with the lessons. Look online for good flutes at a good price.

If you buy a used flute have it evaluated by a professional, or if you are thinking of purchasing a certain model online then have a Singapore Flute teacher look at the flute you are considering buying and ask for his opinion.

Listen to Flute Music

Listening to the flute being played can also help you become a great flutist. When you listen to the flute being played, you can more easily grasp the many intricate ways that a flute is made to produce music. It's also one of the quicker ways to learn to play a piece of flute music, you get to assimilate the tempo and rhythm when you've listen to it a number of times.

By listening to flute music you can start incorporating other techniques into your flute playing. When you listen you absorb different styles and it is much easier than having a teacher talk to you about the different music styles.

Select only the class that you will feel you will grow most in, it could be a combination of the various types mentioned here.

Make Friends with Other People that Play the Flute

The more you play and listen to the flute the better you will get and the more fun you will have. Find others that play the flute too and start a small ensemble. You will enjoy the experience of learning more this way.

really old four foot tall bottle of wine?

i recieved a bottle of wine from my grandfather before he died. its a bottle of bardi but its literally four feet tall with a large botton and a neck that narrows to the top like a long flute, its red in color and the base sits in a woven basket. the top has all sorts of tassles on it the label reads bardi chianti and its one gallon. the woven base it sits upon is red and tan. what do you think its worth?? yeah i know its weird i think he just liked the bottle and never drank it.

These bottles are sold to tourists in Italy still (though ho wyou get them on the plane with the security rules I don't know).

They are souvenirs, not really wine for drinking. So the wine is worth nothing (too old, not good enough) and the bottle is worth whatever you can get for it, (I'd say nothing, but someone somewhere in e-bay land may fancy it)
