Which of these Guitars are better?
Ok, I'm going to get a need a new guitar soon, and right now I have a Kramer Focus 111S here's a picture of it http://musikaster.com/shop/images/Kramer%20Focus%20VT111s%20-%20negra.jpg and when I got it, it came with an amp, strap etc. I got it for only around 80$. Well anyway then I saw this Squier Stratocaster http://hydre.prixdunet.com/images/fiches/orig/3184/acheter-squier-standard-series-black-and-chrome-stratocaster-hss-black-rosewood.jpg and it's only around 220$ and that's really all I can spend since, I dont have alot of money. Well what I wanted to ask was Which guitar is better? The Kramer I have right now, or the Squier? Oh and I would appreciate it if you left details on which is better.thanks
Well of course the Fender is a better guitar. That said, the squire is the lower end models of Fender, and they really isn't good (in fact, they are pretty bad). You do pay quite a lot for the brand. The better Fenders (US, Mexico or Japan) are great, but they do cost quite a bit more.
I would stay away from the Squire if I were you and make the best of what you got. Look into something from Ibanez. You'll get much more for your money.
Better still is to check out the awesome value for money in Agile guitars: http://www.rondomusic.com The build quality here is insane for the price. I have one of the top models here and they are equally as good as guitars costing 4-5 times as much. I play that one more than some of my really expensive ones.
