DIY Tips On How To Make A Solar Panel
If you want to make your own home-made electricity then you can find out how to make a solar panel by yourself. The materials you need are simple and not hard to find. Although you will be buying some of them, you can make up for the expense later when your energy bill decreases.
You will need the following materials that you can get at a hardware store or from your garage: sheet metal shears, a hot plate with 1100 watts, a micro-ammeter that can read 10 to 50 microamperes, safety goggles, a plastic or glass jar, 3 tablespoons of salt, electric drill, 2 alligator clip leads, and half a foot square sheet of copper flashing.
Cut two pieces of copper flashing in a rectangular or square shape that is close to the shape of the electric stoves hot plate. Heat one copper flashing for about thirty minutes till a black layer of cupric oxide forms. Once it turns black, allow the copper cool down without using any fans.
The black layer and residue will come off. Scrub off the remaining black material but take care not to rub off the red cuprous oxide that was also formed during the heating process. Take your time to scrub the residue off and constantly check your work.
Use the alligator clips to attach both panels inside the glass jar or plastic bottle with the top cut off. The panels should not have contact with each other and must bend to match the curves of the bottle. Connect the alligator clips to the positive terminal of the meter. The negative terminal must go to the cuprous oxide plate.
Mix a solution of salt and hot water and place the solution in the jar to cover the plates. Be sure to keep the clips dry and above water. Now, test your home-made solar panel by placing it under the sun. Your gauge should jump up to reflect the electricity your panel is creating.

Does 29 Piece Black Oxide Drill Bit Set Have any kind of warranty?
So I bought a 29 Piece Black Oxide Drill Bit Set from Menards, 10 buck mail in rebate the hole 9. There worth the bank, I've never seen a drill bit take such a beating and still not brake. So I tried to do with these bits something I'd never do with the normal gold bits, I drilled a ford ranger leaf spring bolt, or as it's known GodD*mnFordParts. Well these bits and my grinder took it out, but smaller bits broke, I done through away the plastic it came in, and they don't have a website that I can find, so does this product have a warranty?
No, you will never find a set of bits with a warranty, especially from Menard's. They have no control over what you drill, so they can't warranty the bits. It's worth it to spend a little more and buy cobalt bits, or a multi-pack from Fastenal of the more common sizes (1/8, 1/4, etc.). Hope this helps.
